OC2B is an open/closed chassis motor control that has been designed as building block solid state regulated power unit. OC2B uses state of the art control circuitry which can be used by itself, by wiring in the provided speed potentiometer as a straightforward speed regulated control or can be incorporated into much more sophisticated system designs contactor operation, external speed programming and tach feedback etc.

Master Reference Supply

The Polyspede Master Reference Supply board is designed for multiple-motor control applications. It is a variable voltage power supply with a 0-6 VDC output controlled by an external potentiometer.
The beefed up output from the Master Reference can drive the speed inputs of up to 8 model OC2 controls or up to 80 model OC1 motor controls with a single master speed potentiometer.

The on-board MAX potentiometer allows precise adjustment of the maximum speed reference to the motor controls. Each motor control can then be calibrated to precisely match the speed of each motor in the system.

Input and output fusing is included for circuit protection.

Listed below is the application and ordering information for the Polyspede Master Reference Supply board.

Master Reference Control System (Line Isolation)

An on-board control transformer provides isolation for the master reference supply. Care must be taken to isolate the motor controls from each other. This can be accomplished by either line isolation (above) or signal isolation (below). Some Polyspede controls have built-in isolation, eliminating the need for line transformers or Iso-Volt II circuit boards.
